Information about Artistic Crosses...

We are a Catholic home schooling family just north of Lake Charles LA. I have been making
stained glass for homes, churches, restaurants, and public buildings for quite a few years.

My wife told me that all these large stained glass projects are great, but you need to make
something small that normal people can afford.  So the crosses began.  It is also a lesson for
our children to see how to produce a product from raw materials , learn about marketing,
packing and shipping.  It is wonderful to be able to work with your children.  They have so
many great ideas for creativity. These crosses were invented and are hand made by us.  We
have been making these crosses for several years now, and because of popular demand,
have made a website to distribute them easier.

To our knowledge, there are no crosses like these anywhere.  They are hurricane proof!

Below is a close up view of what an "Artistic Cross" looks like.  You can see the size and
thickness of the glass by the ruler I am holding in the background.  This view also shows the
rough texture of the 1" thick glass that is hand chiseled and cast into a black sand resin that is
a rock like substance.  All of these crosses are brilliant when sunlight passes through them.

Each cross is individually boxed and packed in bubble wrap.  We also add a copy of our story
as well as a full color brochure.  They weigh between 2.5 and 3 lbs and are shipped ready to
hang with  8" of black chain.

Consumer Warning:
These crosses are hand made with real glass.  Please handle with care.  Chipped glass is very beautiful, but it can
also cut you if not handled gently. These crosses are meant to be hung in a window out of reach from children.
Artistic Crosses assumes no responsibility or liability for accidents.

A Personal Note...
As an artist in stained glass, I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the Giver of my gifts and talents.  I firmly
believe that God has created me with these skills to give glory to His Name, and he holds me accountable and
responsible for using these gifts to provide for my family.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these crosses go to help our family ministries: Our son in the seminary
with the Legionaries of Christ, our Daughter who is a Regnum Christe Co-Worker in Calgary, Canada  our youngest
son who will be entering the seminary in a couple of years, and our support of the church financially.

A Special Thanks...
To all those who have helped out our family with the recovery from the damage caused by Hurricane Rita.
Theresa Schmitt ran a story on us on KPLC TV  the day before Thanksgiving 2005 and again in April 2006.  The
response has been awesome.  Thank You Theresa and all of you who have supported us during these times.
God Bless You all,
Frank.
